泰和地处革命摇篮井冈山南大门，赣中南吉泰盆地腹地，是全国20个综合改革试点县之一，江西省县域经济改革与发展试点县，2012年被纳入原中央苏区振兴发展范围，2013年被列为国家可持续发展实验区，2014年被评为省级文明城市、省级森林城市等称号。全县总面积2667平方公里，总人口58.7万，辖24个乡镇场、297个行政村。
Taihe is located in the south gate of Jinggang Mountians, in the hinterland of Jitai Basin in south central Jiangxi . It is county include in economic reform and development pilot counties in Jiangxi Province which is one of 20 comprehensive reform pilot counties. In 2012, Taihe was incorporated into the original central Soviet area revitalization development scope. In 2013, Taihe was listed as the National Sustainable Development Experiment area. In 2014, Taihe was awarded many titles, such as, Provincial Civilized City and Provincial Forest City. Taihe is a county with 24 township farms and 279 administrative village under its jurisdiction. The County total area is 2667 square kilometers and the total population is 587,000.
人文泰和——历史悠久，底蕴深厚。泰和古称西昌，东汉末年建县，距今已有1800年历史，因“地产嘉禾，和气所生”而得名，自古享有“声名文物之邦”美誉。泰和是庐陵文化的重要组成部分，古色文化、红色文化、抗战文化交相辉映。开科取士以来共产生状元3名、榜眼4名、探花4名、进士399名，孕育出明代四朝宰相杨士奇、明代状元宰相陈循、《永乐大典》代总裁梁潜等杰出人物；近现代代表人物有“江西三杰”之一袁玉冰、现代著名海洋学家唐世凤等。泰和是井冈山革命根据地的重要组成部分，全县有名有姓的革命烈士5920名，诞生了18位开国将军。革命胜迹有白云山战斗指挥所、老营盘革命烈士纪念碑、马家洲集中营、三十都秋收暴动动员大会旧址等。泰和是抗战期间江西省会地和“文军西征”的重要中转站，1938年竺可桢先生率浙大西迁泰和办学7个多月，1940年胡先骕先生在泰和杏岭村创办了国立中正大学。
TaiHe has 1,800 years old which built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty , old name was XiChang. The name of this place originated in abundant rice and harmonious environment. It is famous for reputation of cultural relics. TaiHe is the vital part of LuLing culture. Traditional culture、red culture mixed with the anti-war culture. Since from Sui dynasty bred many scholars, it also cultivated the prime minister Yang Yishi who serviced 4 generations in Ming Dynasty. Tere also have many eminent person such as ChenXun and LiangQian. Modern represen-tatives like Yuan Yubing someone who belong to “one of three representatives of Jiangxi”. And Tang Shifeng is the prestigious oceanographer. TaiHe is the most important part of JingGangshan revolutionary base area. There are 5,920 revolutionary martyrs and founding generals is 18. The revolution sites including BaiYun Mountain Combat command post, LaoYingpan revolution martyrs monument, MaJiazhou concentration camp and SanShidu Autumn Harvest Uprising former site. JiangXi was the hub during the Anti-Japanese War. In 1938, Zhu Kezhen lead ZheJiang University move in TaiHe with 7 mouth. In 1940, Hu Xiansu set up National chung cheng University in TaiHe , XingLing.
绿色泰和——物产丰饶，环境优美。是全国首批商品粮、商品牛基地县，也是世界珍禽——中国泰和乌鸡之乡。主要盛产花生、红瓜子、百合、竹篙薯、车前子等经济作物，境内已发现钨、石灰石、瓷土、型砂和石膏等20余种矿种。全县气候温和，光照充足，雨量充沛，四季分明。森林覆盖率达61.6%，森林蓄积量达630万立方米，国家一、二级保护动植物30余种。境内旅游资源丰富。白口城春秋遗址是全国重点文物保护单位，槎滩陂被誉为南方“都江堰”，快阁因北宋黄庭坚作《登快阁》而声名遐迩。乡村休闲游典范国家3A级景区蜀口古村、群山环抱白鹭湖国家森林公园、万亩高山草甸天湖山、摄影创作基地金滩古林等熠熠生辉。
Green Taihe——Abundant property and beautiful environment. It is the first batch of commodity grain and commercial cattle base counties in China. It’s the village of Black Chicken as well. There are mainly rich in peanuts, red melon seeds, lilies, penny’s potato chips, plantain seeds and other cash crops. And it has been found more than twenty kinds of minerals in the territory, such as, tungsten, limestone, porcelain clay, molding sand and gyp. The county is a mild climate, adequate illumiation, sufficient rainfall and four seasons. In Taihe county, the forest coverage rate reaches to 61.6% and forest covers 6.3 million cubic meters. And there are more than thirty kinds of animals and plants which are the first-grade and second-grade state protection. Besides, Taihe is also prosperous tourism. The spring and autumn site of Baikou City is the important historical monuments under special preservation; Chantan Pei (a place name) has been praised as the south “Dujiangyan”. And Kuai Pavilion was famous for the poem of Ascends Kuai Pavilion written by Huang Tngjian who was a poet of the early Northern Song Dynasty. 3A scenic spot of ShuKou ancient village, Egrets Lake National Forest Park, TianHu Mountain and JinTan old forest which is famous for photography.
开放泰和——赶超崛起，活力无限。泰和是开放包容的移民聚居地，现有11万广东籍移民在泰和居住。交通区位优势明显。千里赣江傍城而过，京九、衡茶吉铁路，105、319国道，大广、泰井、泉南高速公路纵横立交，座落在境内的井冈山机场距县城15公里，赣江石虎塘航电枢纽工程正式投入运行，泰和已成为水陆空九条交通网线的枢纽，是长三角、珠三角及闽三角的腹地。近年来，泰和县围绕建设“创新开放、秀美富裕、文明幸福”新泰和目标，主攻项目，决战两区，深化改革，扩大开放，赶超崛起势头强劲。
2017年，全年实现生产总值167.86亿元，完成财政总收入20.89亿元，完成固定资产投资163.35亿元，实现社会消费品零售总额46.95亿元。
Open TaiHe——Development and vitality. TaiHe is a comprehensive immigrants, there are 110,000 Cantonese in here. We have advantage of traffic. The GanJiang River around here, Jingjiu, HengChaji railway interlace with plentiful expressway. JingGangshan airport distance TaiHe about 15 Km. ShiHutang navigation-power project of GanJiang River is in progress. Which one is the centre of the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl Delta and Fujian triangle. Nowadays, “innovation and openness, beauty and richness, civilization and happiness” as our main aim. Deepening reform and opening up always our motivation.
TaiHe is a new star in Jiangxi. Last year, GDP is 16.787 billion, total financial revenue is 16.335 billion, total retail sales of consumer goods is 4,695 billion. Welcome to TaiHe.
